Welcome to Baltimore on the Prairie. A nationally renowned faculty has been assembled to share with you their techniques and knowledge of hand appliqué in general and of the Baltimore Album style in particular. Please read all the registration details as it will help answer any questions you might have related to the registration form. Of course, please contact me if you have any questions.

Lied Lodge and Conference Center is the home for Baltimore on the Prairie, located in Nebraska City, NE. Two hundred and sixty acres beckons with orchards, walking trails and serenity. Every detail in design and decor reflects a commitment to the comfort and care of all the guests and to the natural environment we all share. The Lodge, Conference Center and Timber Dining Room all offer ingredients for relaxation and of course, stitching.

Registration:

Class information posted on website Sept. 16, 2018
Registration begins Sept. 17, 2018
$200 deposit required with registration
Deposit fully refundable prior to March 1, 2019

Conference Classes:

Both Sessions are 2 days in length
Session A is Wed & Thurs, Sept 11 and 12, 2019
Session B is Fri & Sat, Sept 13 and 14, 2019
Classes are from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm with lunch break from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Registration Costs:

Registration fee is all inclusive
Includes, classes, lodging, all meals and gratuities for the meals
Registration may be for Session A, Session B or the Conference Package which includes both Sessions A and B
Fees are based on double or single occupancy or local where lodging is not necessary
Session A only – Sept 11 & 12 – Local – includes 2 lunches and 2 dinners
Session A only – Sept 11 & 12 – includes 2 nights lodging (Sept 10 & 11), 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 3 dinners
Session B only – Sept 13 & 14 – Local – includes 2 lunches and 2 dinners
Session B only – Sept 13 & 14 – includes 3 nights lodging (Sept 12-14), 3 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 3 dinners
Conference Package – Sessions A & B – Local – includes 4 lunches and 4 dinners
Conference Package – Session A & B – includes 5 nights lodging (Sept 10-14), 5 breakfasts, 4 lunches and 5 dinners
Adjustments regarding number of meals or nights of lodging can be made by contacting the Administrator
Spouses and guests are very welcome at the conference. Contact the BOTP Administrator for costs

Additional Costs:

Teachers may have a class or lab fee to cover printing costs or other materials for class and are listed on the supply lists
Teachers may offer kits with cost listed on the supply list
Any extra fees are paid directly to the teacher.
Kits must be ordered through the teacher by August 1, 2019

Meals:

Meals will be buffets served in the Timber Dining Room
Tips are included in your registration

Lodging:

Majority of guest rooms have 2 Queen beds
Handicap accessible guestrooms are available
Free wireless internet available throughout the entire facility
Blow dryer, coffee maker, refrigerator in each guest room
Complimentary morning coffee in lobby
Connecting guest rooms or grouping of guest rooms can be requested by contacting the BOTP Administrator
Requests are made to the reservation staff at Lied but cannot be guaranteed by Baltimore on the Prairie

Transportation:

Parking is free at the Lodge
The Lodge offers shuttle service to and from Omaha’s Eppley Airfield airport.
Cost of shuttle is $30 one way
Make shuttle reservations 10 days in advance by calling Lied Lodge - 800-546-5433 and mention Baltimore on the Prairie
Lied Lodge is approximately 50 miles south of the Omaha airport
The Omaha airport serves most major airlines

Payment Information:

$200 deposit is required at the time of registering
Remaining balance of registration is due June 1, 2019
If registering after June 1, 2019, the entire registration fee is required

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations must be made in writing or through email
$100 of deposit will be refunded between March 1 and June 1, 2019
No refunds issued after June 1, 2019
Registrations may be transferred
There will be a $25 transfer fee for any registrations that need to be transferred

Advance Registration:

Faculty and class projects for 2019 are announced the last night of the 2018 conference
2018 attendees are offered first opportunity to register for the 2019 conference

Class Assignments:

For those with advance registration, registration forms are shuffled, blindly drawn and class choices recorded in order
Following advance registrations, classes are assigned in the order in which they are received
Confirmation of registration and class assignment will be sent via snail mail within a month of being received

Payment Options:

Payment may be made by check, cash, money order or credit card
If paying by check or money order, download the registration form under the tab, “Mail Registration”, fill it out and mail it
Make checks out to either Tresa Jones or Baltimore on the Prairie
If paying online, use the “Online Registration” tab. Choose your class(es) and click the “Book It” tab. Fill out the “Info” page and follow instructions to pay with credit card
Remaining balances are due June 1, 2019
